Heather believes that when you know better, you do better. As such, she aspires to educate her clients through action. She has created programs that specifically target women through the 4 phases of their menstrual cycle so that all women can maximize their results and minimize the risk of injury. She understands the importance of tailoring workouts based on those 4 cycles and that the female body requires different types of movements throughout those phases.

As a former semi-professional basketball player and a kinesiologist, she is passionate about lifelong health and building health-literate clients. Heather loves addressing imbalances in movement patterns to improve quality of life so that clients can do daily activities and reach their goals without the risk of injury or falling back into bad habits. She has also created programs specifically for the weekend warrior and the aspiring professional athlete.

Her training style is well-rounded and her background in Kinesiology has allowed her clients to grow not only in their physique, but in the understanding of the importance of building healthy habits. Her personal philosophy is to live a life of purpose that is seen, not heard. In 2019, Trainer Heather founded and curated the first ever Los Angeles Fitness Festival. Think Coachella meets Beach Body. The Los Angeles Fitness Festival is an all day health event where music, fitness, and culture collide. From live performances and workouts, to health food vendors and workshops, the LAFF has something for everyone.

In 2018, she's cultivated brand partnerships with Nike, Jordan, ONE Brand, and various organizations including MLK Hospital. Her passion project is her corporate wellness company, Empire Training Academy, where she brings health and wellness to where you are. She desires to bridge the gap between accessibility and cost. Her ultimate goal is to create experiences through fitness. She's created fitness experiences throughout Los Angeles including Trap Boot Camp LA and Betty Boot Camp - an all female workout.

The things that bring Heather the most joy are spending time outdoors, playing basketball, and fellowshipping with her friends and family. When she isn't changing lives through fitness, she is enjoying a nice day on the beach with a good book and a cold beverage. On the weekends, you can find her on rooftop somewhere, enjoying a nice brunch with the people that bring her the most joy. She loves dancing, she loves singing (can't really hold a note), and she loves telling jokes. You'll laugh as much as you sweat in a session with Trainer Heather.
